Zwijndrecht 2.2.3.d.2.
In 1985 the municipality of Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands commissioned Lucien den Arend to make a sculpture for the new town hall extension.
Since the old entrance and the new one were now located on two streets - the new one around the corner - the sculpture had to somehow relate to this. This particular work just happened to give an answer to this question without making any concessions.
